The first show of the Magic Fountain of Montjuic was the May 19, 1929, during the International Exposition in Barcelona. The architect Carles Buigas presented his project a year before the show and everyone thought the project was too ambitious to be done in time. Over 3000 workers were hired to work on the project and less than a year later, the Magic Fountain was built.

The program (free) from the “Magic Fountain” features 13 different coerografie with music ranging from classical symphonies, remix, modern songs, medleys 70 and 80. Undoubtedly the most exciting scene is when you hear “Barcelona”, sung by Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballé.
