Every September 11 marks the National Day of Catalonia, a festival popularly known by the name of Diada.
Next Tuesday, September 11th will be the National Day of Catalonia. This commemorates the fall of Barcelona in the hands of the Bourbon troops under the Duke of Berwick during the War of the Spanish Succession September 11 1714, after 14 months of siege.
